Dreamer vs. Doer (And Some Harry Potter Insight!)

Hi Darling,

Want to know a secret?

Before I share it, if you're a die hard Harry Potter fan you're going to have to forgive me for what I'm about to say next...

Over the last two weeks, I started watching all the Harry Potter movies for the first time!

It didn't seem right that after my best friend had taken me to the Harry Potter Studios during her visiting to England, I still hadn't seen all eight movies.

I mean, it was long over due since this was actually me second visiting to the studios! I know, I know. I can't believe I waited this long either! (insert monkey emoji covering his eyes)

As I watched them, there was a really beautiful quote that stuck out to me during Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone...

"It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live."

When Dumboldore (basically Harry's principal and dear friend) shared these words with Harry, Harry was looking into a magical mirror that showed him what he most wanted – to be with his parents who had passed away when he was just an infant.

Harry had the choice of staring into the mirror and seeing himself with his family (an impossible dream) or truly living life!

Just like that mirror, we create our own mini-versions of it with vision boards or mindless daydreaming.

Don't get me wrong, I love vision boards and I whole heartedly believe they help us stay focused on our end goals but it doesn't do you any good to just dream about them and hope they'll come true.

You've got to live! Truly living means you're taking action.

Luckily, unlike Harry, your business dreams are very much possible (even if they seem impossible right now)! But they need you to take big action to make them come true.

You don't suddenly wake up one morning and have a successful business. It happens because of the consistent action you've taken to create a thriving online business.

Stop being a day dreamer. Start turning those incredible dreams into your very real life!

What do you want to see come to life by the end of the summer?

Business is about to pick up,
