Harper Wedding // 02.23.14

Our wedding day, was more than we ever imagined. It was a stressful 2 months planning our big day. Although, there were many little things I wish we would've had more time to do, I was more concerned with marrying the man of my dreams. Something that is so easy to forget in this day in age where we are reminded by bloggers that life is so perfect. I'll be the first to tell you that my wedding wasn't perfect but it's imperfections were what made my wedding day special. Because that's life. It's never perfect and that's okay.

To be honest, the night before our wedding day I cried myself to sleep because I was exhausted. I should have just eloped. I told Steve that night that I didn't even want to have the wedding. I wanted someone to come marry us at the house and spend the rest of the day laying in bed watching Netflix.

I may or may not have been Bridezilla.

After an encouraging chat with my groom I was ready for our wedding day. Our special day was full of love, family, and close friends. I only had eyes for my groom that day. I know it's customary to talk to everyone but we totally didn't do that. It may have been the best decision Steve and I made because I saw him all night not everything/everyone else around me.

For everyone who helped, we are beyond grateful.

A special thank you to my matron of honour, Amanda Julca, who was a huge support and put up with my bridezilla moments. Thank you to my maid-of-honour, Madison Mikhail for slaving over the DIY projects for our wedding and throwing such a beautiful bridal shower (specially those Breakfast at Tiffany's themed cakes!). Thank you to my bridesmaids, Abby, Michelle, Sara, and Christy for being so flexible and rushing around to get dresses with such limited amount of time and for going all out for me Bachelorette/Hen party! The limo was such a blast! You guys seriously gave me such an incredible night! One that I'll remember for the rest of my life. I love you girls so much and I miss you ever day in England.

Thank you Coty Krivda for spending countless hours with my mom. Your help with the dress meant so much to her and I. And thank you for the many cakes you made for me. They were all beautiful and delicious!

Thank you Blanca Guerra for your support, doing my hair, and hand making beautiful gifts for me and my brides maids. We absolutely loved them!

Thank you Laura Clarizio for helping with hair on our wedding day and the flawless make-up you did for me and my girls. You are so talents my dear! I love you long time.

Thank you Maggie Apel for helping me organise, making phone calls, and helping me think of things I never would have though of. You are a rock start.

Thank you Jessica McMillen, fake sista, for helping with DIY projects. Thank you Deb Helmrich for allowing us to through our rehearsal dinner at your house and giving up your time to arrange our wedding flowers.

Thank you Mark and Kristen Artrip for spend time with us and providing pre-marital counseling and Mark for playing the best tunes at our wedding. Your support has meant so much to me.

Thank you Arianna Pepper for our wedding program! Thank you Jonathan for running to Kinkos and getting out programs printed.

Thank you David for singing our first dance song. It meant the world to me. Every time Steve and I hear You and I we not only remember the love we have for each other but we remember the beautiful performance you put on at our wedding.

Last but definitely not least, thank you to my mom and dad. Thank you mom for the crazy amount of hours you put into making my beautiful wedding dress. Something that will stay in our family forever. Thank you dad for giving me the most beautiful wedding and spoiling me with such a beautiful venue. You have the best taste.

Wish I could relive it again!
