Dreading The Holidays? I Was Too...

Dear Darling,

Can I just say, I absolutely love this time of year – sipping on hot chocolate with marshmallows, ice skating outdoors, shopping for presents, family gatherings, and cozying up to watch Elf. It's always been my favorite but this year I was dreading it.

I wasn't dreading Christmas because of all the fun it brings but because my business wasn't where I had planned it to be.

Let me explain, a few months back I planned out all the crazy, hefty goals I was going to meet by the end of the year.

I was excited to say the least!

But somewhere along the way I got off track. Some how my non-negotables weren't so non-negotable. I couldn't figure out what was off but I needed to get back to accomplishing what I had set out to do. I was stuck in a funk and half-way through November I was no longer available to stay in it.

After too many tears had rolled down my cheeks and a lengthy conversation with my coach, she helped me get on the right track. I wish I had spoken up sooner but I was trying to play it cool and brave it out on my own. Darling, don't ever do that. Don't be a martyr. Had I spoken up sooner, I would've been meeting my goals sooner.

One month doesn't seem like enough time to make up for the goals I had planned but I have to tell you, a lot can happen in a month!

After a crazy productive end of November and beginning of December I'm happy to say that I'm back on track! Thanks to my coach, I have so much more clarity and direction. Coaches always say, "new levels, new devils," and I can vouch for that.

It's been both scary yet exciting but that's part of the entrepreneurial process – taking risks.

After a time of hustling (I dislike that word but more on that in a later email), yesterday was all about a slow morning and staying in bed until noon. Now, that's what I call freedom. Last week was full on and non-stop. It was an incredibly successful week but Monday called for staying in bed until I felt like it!

I've worked my butt off to build this kind of lifestyle. It doesn't happen overnight but it can happen quickly.

Beth, are you ready to claim this kind of freedom for your life and business in 2017?

Even though it's the rush of the holiday season, I still have clients singing up to work with me because they want to end the year with a bang and launch their business with momentum in 2017.

I hope you take the risk and chose to do the same.

Lots of love,

Beth xo
